Author Bae: Navigating Life's Patterns with Purpose
Share
It's great to have you here, Taureca. Could you start by sharing a bit about yourself and what drives you?
Absolutely. I've always believed in the power of self-awareness and intuition. It's allowed me to recognize my strengths and even embrace my weaknesses. From a young age, my parents instilled in me the idea of finding positivity in any negative situation.
Failure has never been an option in my DNA; success was the only way to go. These life lessons have guided me in two significant roles: I've been an educator for 21 years and counting, and I've embraced the hustle of entrepreneurship for 18 years.
That's an impressive journey, Taureca. Now, let's dive into your book, "Addictive Patterns." Can you tell us more about it?
"Addictive Patterns" is a self-help book that delves into the signs, patterns, principles, behaviors, and lessons that can significantly impact one's mental health. I believe that by understanding the repeating patterns of history, we can equip the next generation to either avoid suffering or benefit from our life decisions.
What motivated you to write this book? What's the driving force behind "Addictive Patterns"?
The world is filled with countless stories and life lessons. As I reflected on the experiences in my own relationships and witnessed others going through similar situations, I felt a strong calling to write "Addictive Patterns." It's my way of educating, inspiring, and teaching individuals based on the knowledge I've gained.
How has the journey of becoming an author impacted your life? Are there any significant lessons you've learned along the way?
Becoming an author has been an eye-opener. I've realized that words can be the most powerful tools at our disposal. It has allowed me to reach more people with my personal experiences and testimonies. The best part is hearing from readers around the world about how "Addictive Patterns" is making a difference in their lives by shedding light on these patterns. Through this journey, I've come to understand the immense power of my voice.
Overcoming the fear of writing and sharing your stories can be a real challenge. How did you manage to do it?
My faith has always been more substantial than my fear. It's this unwavering faith that kept fear from being an obstacle. I also had a fantastic support system that provided me with honest feedback, which boosted my confidence in aligning my writing with my vision.
Finally, what advice do you have for aspiring authors who are considering taking the plunge into writing?
My advice is simple and powerful: Tune out the naysayers, put that pen to the paper, and share your story. Your voice matters.
That's a powerful message, Taureca. For potential readers who want to support you, where can they find your book and connect with you on the web and social media?
You can find my book and more information on my website at https://www.addictivepatterns.com. And you can connect with me on my YouTube channel @taurecawilliams739, on Instagram at @addictivepatterns. Your support means the world to me.

Addictive pattern is a powerful book with many life lessons. I read the interview and two things stood out the most is, understanding repeated history equips us to prepare the next generation. Also the statement about her faith being greater than her fear we should all have that same testimony. I’m waiting on the next self book from her.
